Summary
Fifteen years in financial services — ten of them in bank fraud and risk, six designing the products. That's an unusual path to product design, and it's why my work looks the way it does: I spent a decade downstream of bad interfaces before I ever built one. Now I cover the full span — research through design systems through production code — with four design systems built and $100M in client investments driven by a single product.

- Also served as Interim Digital Design Manager (Sep 2025 – Jan 2026) — led the product design team for two quarters, hired and onboarded several designers, and brought content design in-house. Returned to an IC track by choice.
- Design Uplift — leading the migration of the Figma design system into Storybook with AI-assisted generation, governance layer built first, zero dedicated front-end allocation. Moving into a Design Systems Manager remit.
- Integrated AI-first design workflows (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) across the design practice — accelerating iteration, automating component generation, reducing design-to-engineering handoff friction.
- Mentor a team of designers; lead cross-functional initiatives across onboarding, rollovers, and investment flows.

- Smart Target — ARO investment onboarding, owned end-to-end from first interview through v2. $100M in total client investments; $95M in additional rollovers projected for 2026.
- Client Education & Retention — designed and led a 1,500-participant study across two scenarios. Findings killed the planned withdrawal-warning intervention and redirected retention strategy toward early touchpoints.
- Account Claim — research-led redesign of the first-touch experience for 500K+ users. The two-round diagnostic-then-validation model became the org's standard research approach.
